On the 19th, according to Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, recently Mr. A left a handwritten letter and 500,000 won in cash with the staff at the first-floor information counter of the district office and disappeared.

The handwritten letter read, "I am a Chinese expatriate. I entered the country on April 17, completed the COVID test and self-quarantine. Thanks to the government’s provision of daily necessities and support, I was able to get through the self-quarantine well. Although it is a small amount, I am donating this as a token of gratitude."

On the same day, a student from Songjeong-dong visited the Gwangsan-gu Safety Management Division and delivered 33 masks purchased with their own allowance, asking that they be given to those working hard to overcome COVID-19.

A Gwangsan-gu official said, "The donated money and goods filled with gratitude and sincerity will be entrusted to the Together Gwangsan Sharing Culture Foundation and delivered to neighbors who are struggling due to COVID-19."
