[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] As the government has shifted the quarantine system to 'social distancing in daily life,' the Gimhae Cultural Foundation announced on the 19th that it will further strengthen the COVID-19 quarantine system, focusing on tourist facilities used by many people, prioritizing customer safety above all.

In response to the spread of COVID-19, the foundation implemented a complete closure from February 23 and has gradually resumed facility operations, reopening 'Gimhae Gaya Theme Park' on May 1, 'Gimhae Observatory' on May 8, and 'Gimhae Nakdonggang Rail Park' on May 15.

All customers visiting Gimhae tourist facilities must go through three steps to enter: maintaining distance while queuing, mask-wearing verification, and temperature measurement. Additionally, mask-wearing is mandatory inside spaces such as amusement facilities, experience centers, and performance halls, and guidance is provided to use hand sanitizers placed throughout the facilities.

A representative of the Gimhae Cultural Foundation stated, “Although the quarantine system has changed to social distancing in daily life, since these are spaces visited by our own families, we will not let our guard down and will continue thorough preventive measures,” adding, “Through continuous facility disinfection and quarantine campaigns, we will create a space where everyone can feel safe.”
