[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The Muan Fire Station in Jeonnam (Chief Park Won-guk) announced on the 19th that it won first place in Jeonnam at the '119 Emergency Medical Service Activity Competition' hosted by the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters on the 18th.

This competition evaluates paramedics' response capabilities through simulated scenarios based on severe emergency patients and special situations by accident type.

The four members from Muan Fire Station (Fire Lieutenant Lee Dae-myung, Fire Sergeant Oh Won, Fire Sergeant Song Seo-yeon, Firefighter Jin Ji-hye) successfully completed comprehensive processes including patient assessment, emergency treatment, and EMS activity log documentation following a severe trauma patient incident caused by a stone factory crush injury, and were selected as the best team. They will represent Jeonnam at the national competition in July.

Chief Park Won-guk said, "Consistent training to strengthen disaster site response capabilities seems to have led to this good result," and added, "We will continue to make efforts to protect the safety and lives of the residents."
