[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) announced that the Jungnang Career and Job Experience Support Center (Director Lee Hyun-bae) was selected as an excellent center in the 2019 Career and Job Experience Support Center evaluation conducted by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education.
This evaluation was conducted on 25 career and job experience support centers across Seoul.
The annual evaluation of career and job experience centers, aimed at activating diverse career and job experiences for participating students through solid center management, consisted of ▲on-site monitoring (30%) ▲user satisfaction surveys (60%) ▲budget execution inspection (10%).
The Jungnang Career and Job Experience Support Center received positive evaluations for discovering about 130 career experience sites including Jungnang-gu Sports Council, Jungnang-gu Chamber of Commerce, and Korea Racing Authority Jungnang Branch. In particular, it earned high scores through the ‘Donghaeng’ program, an experience program conducted for youth with disabilities.
Moreover, the Jungnang Career and Job Experience Support Center held a Mentor Day in 2019, inviting about 40 workplace donors and professional mentors to listen to the voices of career experience stakeholders on site and to express gratitude.
Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “With the Jungnang Career and Job Experience Support Center being selected as an excellent center, the budget received will be used to provide various career experience contents for the youth of Jungnang-gu. Together with the Bang Jeong-hwan Education Support Center, which will open next year, we will spare no support so that the youth of Jungnang-gu can move forward toward their dreams.”
The Bang Jeong-hwan Education Support Center, scheduled to open in February 2021, will provide career experience learning spaces, college counseling rooms, self-directed learning rooms, lifelong education facilities, and will support the dreams of youth together with the Jungnang Career and Job Experience Support Center.
