[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Young-wook] Pohang City, Gyeongsangbuk-do announced on the 18th that it will hold a 'Citizen Idea Contest for Overcoming COVID-19 and Revitalizing Pohang.'
The contest categories include ideas for promoting citizen consumption and revitalizing the local economy, protecting and creating jobs, activating culture and tourism, improving inconveniences in daily life caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), enhancing the city image, and other ideas to revitalize Pohang.
The submission period is until June 10, and only non-face-to-face submissions are accepted via the National Petition System, Pohang City Hall website, E-mail, or mail.
Proposals that have been selected in other contests are excluded, and anyone interested in Pohang city administration can participate.
In July, outstanding proposers will be awarded Pohang Love Gift Certificates as follows: Grand Prize 1,000,000 KRW (1 person), Silver Prize 500,000 KRW (1 person), Bronze Prize 300,000 KRW (1 person), Encouragement Prize 200,000 KRW (1 person), and Effort Prize 100,000 KRW (5 people).
