Kwangbokhoe Held Meeting with Seoul District Mayors on the 13th

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seoul district mayors have decided to enact ordinances to honor the descendants of independence activists.
The Liberation Association (Chairman Kim Won-ung) held a meeting with district mayors in Seoul on the 13th and made this decision.
Attendees included Kim Young-jong, Mayor of Jongno-gu (Chairman of the Seoul District Mayors Council), as well as Chae Hyun-il, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, Yoo Dong-gyun, Mayor of Mapo-gu, and Yoo Sung-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, who discussed policies to promote the spirit of independence and welfare support for the descendants of independence activists.
On this day, Chairman Kim Won-ung proposed the idea of naming public facilities such as roads and parks after local independence activists based on the spirit of grassroots democracy, which the district mayors agreed with.
Additionally, the district mayors expressed their intention to actively consider enacting an ordinance (tentatively titled) "On the Honor of Descendants of Independence Activists."
