Infectious Disease Prevention Education, Strengthening Quarantine and Healthcare Capacities

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Gyeongnam Social Service Institute and the Gyeongnam Safety Life Practice Citizens' Coalition (Gyeongnam Ansillyeon) announced on the 18th that they signed a business agreement on the 14th at the Gyeongnam Social Service Institute conference room to mutually cooperate in preventing safety accidents and spreading safety culture by utilizing the capabilities and resources possessed by both organizations.
The two organizations agreed to jointly conduct safety inspections of social welfare facilities, produce and distribute safety and health materials, manage facility safety and provide technical support, and hold safety culture events for vulnerable groups.
In particular, to prevent and respond to infectious diseases such as the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), they will provide education on quarantine and disinfection. The Social Service Institute will secure the budget necessary for training workers at social welfare facilities and related institutions throughout Gyeongnam, while Gyeongnam Ansillyeon will dispatch professional instructors.
Both organizations pledged to do their best to ensure that vulnerable groups can live safely by preventing and preparing for new infectious diseases, disasters, and safety accidents.
