Lee Seung-heon, who started in the game against the Hanwha Eagles held on the 17th at Daejeon Hanwha Life Eagles Park, was hit on the left side of his head by a line drive from Hanwha's Jeong Jin-ho with one out and runners on first and second in the third inning, and collapsed.
Lee Seung-heon, who was holding his head in pain, was transported to the hospital that day.
The Lotte Giants stated, "After undergoing a computed tomography (CT) scan and detailed examination at Chungnam National University Hospital, minor skull fractures and bleeding were found," and added, "Lee Seung-heon is hospitalized, and after monitoring his condition, we will decide whether to transfer him to Busan."
Meanwhile, Lee Seung-heon, who graduated from Yongma High School and was selected by Lotte as the 3rd overall pick in the second round of the 2018 rookie draft, started in one game last year, and this was his second appearance since his professional debut.
