Agreement Signed for Talent Development with Employment First, Learning Later Approach
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun University (President Min Young-don) announced on the 14th that it has signed an agreement with CNG Bio Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Jae-gang) for cooperation in nurturing talent through employment first, then learning.
Following the agreement, Lee Jae-gang, CEO of CNG Bio, donated 10 million KRW as a development fund.
CNG Bio is a bio company developing health functional foods and natural new drugs with the motto "A company that puts society and people before business."
Attending the signing ceremony were Lee Jae-gang, CEO of CNG Bio Co., Ltd., Chairman Lee Dae-hee, Chosun University President Min Young-don, Dean of the College of Future Society Convergence Kim Jong-kyung, Director of External Cooperation Kim Bong-cheol, Deputy Director of External Cooperation Cho Sam-rae, and Professor Lee Gyu-bong of the Department of Human Convergence Services at the College of Future Society Convergence.
Both parties agreed to cooperate on ▲ promotion of employment-first, then learning ▲ cooperation linking employment-first with Chosun University family companies for graduates of specialized high schools and Meister high schools ▲ support for education and training for employed persons who started working first ▲ information exchange cooperation for promoting employment-first, then learning ▲ and operation of mutual consultation on other related fields.
The donated development fund will be used to provide scholarships to exemplary students for the development of the College of Future Society Convergence at Chosun University and to support the discovery and nurturing of local talent.
CEO Lee Jae-gang said, "We will actively support the development of the lifelong education system at Chosun University's College of Future Society Convergence."
