According to the court on the 13th, the Criminal Division 21 of the Seoul Central District Court made a decision for discretionary bail for former secretary general Jo on the same day. Jo was released from Seoul Eastern Detention Center following the court's decision.

The court, which had planned to hold a sentencing hearing for Jo on the 12th, decided to resume the trial. A new trial date was set for the 27th of this month. Jo's detention period is until the 17th.
