Receive Bank Statements via KakaoTalk Now

[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Now, you can receive notices from private and financial institutions via KakaoTalk.

Kakao Pay announced on the 13th that its application for 'Private and Financial Institution Electronic Notices' submitted to the Ministry of Science and ICT has been approved under the ICT regulatory sandbox.

Users can receive and view important documents from administrative and public institutions, as well as financial institutions such as insurance and loan-related notices, through the KakaoTalk channel 'Kakao Pay My Documents' by authenticating with Kakao Pay.

Without installing a separate application, as long as you have KakaoTalk, you can conveniently receive important documents by issuing a certificate through Kakao Pay. Received and viewed documents are stored in 'My Documents,' allowing you to check them anytime and anywhere without concerns about lost mail or personal information leaks.

Kakao Pay stated, "Thanks to the Ministry of Science and ICT's approval of mobile electronic notices for private and financial institutions, users can now conveniently check a wider variety of documents via KakaoTalk," adding, "We will create an environment where users can conveniently and safely manage necessary documents by promoting mobile electronic notices from administrative and public institutions to the private sector."

Since February last year, Kakao Pay has received temporary approval from the Ministry of Science and ICT for mobile electronic notice services targeting administrative and public institutions, providing electronic documents such as the National Tax Service's 'Various Tax-Related Notices,' the National Pension Service's 'Pension Subscription Details Notice,' Korea Expressway Corporation's 'Unpaid Toll Notices,' Seoul City's 'Namsan Tunnel 1 and 3 Congestion Toll Unpaid Notices,' and 'Bus Parking Violation Fine Notices,' among other major administrative and public institution notices.
