[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Kia Motors announced on the 13th that it has launched a program called 'Custom Plan,' which allows customers to purchase the Stinger with a monthly payment of 280,000 KRW without any down payment.

The Custom Plan is an exclusive purchase program for the Stinger that offers benefits such as deferring up to 80% of the vehicle price without any down payment restrictions, a minimum interest rate of 3%, and exemption from early repayment fees throughout the entire period. Kia expects this purchase program to reduce the initial cost burden for customers when buying a vehicle and also lessen the burden of installment payments.

Specifically, if individual and sole proprietor customers purchase the Kia Stinger 2.0 Gasoline Turbo model through the Custom Plan within this month, 80% of the vehicle price will be deferred until the last month of the 36-month installment period. Interest on this amount and the remaining vehicle price will be charged at a 3.5% interest rate, with monthly payments of approximately 280,000 KRW. Notably, there is no early repayment fee for additional payments, allowing customers to freely make extra repayments depending on their financial situation.

Additionally, Kia provides a service that guarantees up to 64% of the vehicle price (based on 3 years) as the used car price for customers who find the deferred amount burdensome at the end of the installment period.

A Kia Motors representative said, “We have prepared the exclusive purchase program called Custom Plan so that more customers can experience Kia’s premium performance sedan, the Stinger,” and added, “We will continue to introduce various purchase programs to reduce the burden of vehicle purchases for our customers.”
