AIA Life Launches Dental Insurance Covering Small Treatments to Implants and Dentures

AIA Life offers the '(Non-)New Good Dental Insurance (Renewable)' that covers everything from minor dental treatments to conservative, prosthetic, and permanent treatments.

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] AIA Life announced on the 13th that it will launch the '(Non-)New Good Teeth Insurance (Renewable)' which covers everything from minor dental treatments to conservative, prosthetic, and permanent treatments.

This product strengthens coverage for filling treatments and crown treatments by adding customized riders to the main contract.

When subscribing to 10 units each of the New Filling Treatment Coverage Rider and the New Crown Treatment Coverage Rider under the main contract, filling treatment per tooth is covered up to 240,000 KRW for gold and porcelain, crown treatment up to 400,000 KRW, and pulp treatment up to 20,000 KRW respectively.

Scaling and major periodontal diseases are also covered through riders. When subscribing to 10 units of the main contract and the Minor Dental Treatment Coverage Rider, scaling treatment is covered once a year up to 10,000 KRW, and major periodontal disease treatments are covered up to 30,000 KRW per treatment with no annual limit on the number of treatments.

Implant, denture, and bridge treatments can also be included as riders. When subscribing to 10 units each of the main contract and the Prosthetic Treatment Coverage Rider, implants are covered up to 500,000 KRW per permanent tooth extraction, and bridges and dentures up to 250,000 KRW.

Applicants aged from 6 to 65 can subscribe, and coverage is renewable every 15 years up to a maximum age of 80.
