DPC, a high-end home care beauty brand operated by MSCO Co., Ltd. (CEO Seomun Seong), launched its premium vitamin serum in April and achieved sales of 3 billion KRW within just one month, joining the ranks of ‘sold-out serums’.

The ‘Premium V Effect Double Serum,’ first introduced on April 7 through Lotte Home Shopping, sold out during its launch broadcast and achieved the remarkable feat of selling all prepared products again during the second broadcast on May 10. The total cumulative sales volume of the DPC vitamin serum reached 68,000 bottles in one month, with sales accelerating with each broadcast.

A DPC representative explained the product’s popularity, saying, “Based on product reviews and SNS messages, it seems consumers are curious about the new vitamin serum, influenced by vivid testimonials from existing product users, leading to many orders. New customers are also satisfied with the product’s texture and are responding positively. Word of mouth among consumers has spread, increasing the serum’s popularity day by day, earning it the title of a sold-out serum.”

The ‘DPC Premium V Effect Double Serum’ is the latest vitamin serum product born from five years of research and development at DPC. Considering the vulnerability of vitamins to oxidation, it incorporates an airless container that blocks air inflow, allowing the use of fresh vitamins down to the last drop. The dual-type pump dispenses two serum formulations simultaneously: one side contains the ‘Vita C 25 Serum’ with 25% pure vitamin, and the other side contains the ‘Hyaluron M8 Serum,’ which adds a smooth texture to the vitamin serum.

The Vita C 25 Serum technically excludes purified water, one of the three major factors causing vitamin oxidation, and combines the water-soluble moisturizer ‘Propanediol’ to help stabilize the oxidation of water-soluble vitamins. This overcomes the slow absorption drawback of purified water and helps the beneficial vitamin ingredients penetrate deep into the skin. The serum’s 25% high concentration of pure vitamin helps brighten the complexion and promote firm skin.

The Hyaluron M8 Serum contains eight types of hyaluronic acid, providing dense and fine moisture molecules that hydrate the skin and help vitamin ingredients absorb into even the smallest areas. Additionally, due to the acidic nature of vitamins, which can cause stinging or tingling sensations, this serum alleviates such skin reactions and offers a smoother application experience. By mixing the vitamin serum and hyaluron serum just before use after dispensing, it can be safely used without oxidation concerns.

Meanwhile, the popular ‘DPC Premium V Effect Double Serum,’ known as a ‘sold-out serum,’ will be available on Thursday, May 14, at 8:45 PM through CJ O Shopping.
