NBAC Co., Ltd. has completed an eco-friendly automatic waste collection system project at the Busan Haeundae LCT site.
The LCT project is a mega development with a total budget of 3 trillion KRW, boasting a height of 411 meters, making it the second tallest building in Korea. This is more than 1.5 times taller than Seoul's Namsan Tower.
Busan LCT is NBAC's fifth high-rise building project and the tallest high-rise building site among NBAC's domestic projects. The system installed at the Busan LCT project is an indoor type, with waste disposal chutes installed on each floor, allowing residents to open their doors and directly dispose of waste into the chutes located in the corridors. It is a system that efficiently collects household waste in the supertall buildings consisting of the 101-floor Landmark Tower and two 85-floor apartment towers.
NBAC's first domestic high-rise building project, the Seocho Superville project, has been operating stably since its completion in 2003 after construction began in 2001. Starting with the Seocho Superville project, NBAC has continuously installed its systems in regional landmark projects such as Yongsan Park Tower and Cheonan Pentaport, contributing to the improvement of eco-friendly residential environments.
Based on NBAC's technology and operational know-how, which has been building systems in domestic high-rise buildings since 2000, the NBAC system was successfully applied and completed in the Haeundae LCT project, the second tallest building in Korea.
For overseas projects, NBAC secured the system contract for the landmark Taipei 101 Tower in Taiwan in 1999, ahead of its first domestic high-rise building project, and the system has been well utilized to this day. Representatives from the Taipei 101 Tower operating company and construction company, based on strong trust in NBAC, have visited NBAC's Korean system sites and are currently conducting on-site inspections and discussions with NBAC's Korean technical team regarding system upgrades.
With the completion of the Busan Haeundae LCT project, it is expected that NBAC's technology and know-how will shine even more through the NBAC system installed in one of the most landmark projects in Korea.
