BioCore Receives Emergency Use Authorization for COVID-19 Diagnostic Kit... Sixth in Korea

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] BioCore announced on the 11th that its COVID-19 diagnostic kit product, 'BioCore 2019-nCoV Real-Time PCR Kit,' has received emergency use authorization from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

This is the sixth time a COVID-19 diagnostic kit has received emergency use approval in South Korea.

The BioCore diagnostic kit diagnoses COVID-19 using a real-time gene amplification method.

Prior to this approval, the product obtained export permission from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and is being exported to over 20 countries including Germany, Italy, Spain, India, and Ghana.
