‘Munjeong Biz Valley Specialized Recruitment Center’ Renovated

JobKorea Online Exclusive Recruitment Center... 183 Hired Last Year... Renewal Diversifies Company Introductions Including Super Company Hall

[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Songpa-gu (Mayor Seong-su Park) has revamped the ‘Munjeong Biz Valley Specialized Recruitment Center,’ operated through Korea’s largest employment platform, JobKorea, and will officially launch it on the 11th.

Munjeong Biz Valley is a future-oriented business complex housing about 3,000 companies in new growth industries such as IT convergence, bio, and green industries. It is located in the area of 350 Munjeong-dong, Songpa-gu.

Since most of the companies in Munjeong Biz Valley are small and venture businesses facing significant difficulties in recruiting personnel, the district has been operating an online exclusive recruitment center on the private employment platform JobKorea since June last year.

By the end of December, about 270 companies participated in the ‘Munjeong Biz Valley Specialized Recruitment Center,’ posting over 600 job openings, resulting in 183 job seekers successfully finding employment.

Accordingly, the district has revamped the recruitment center to maximize its effectiveness.

In addition to the main job roles and recruitment announcements of resident companies previously provided, various company data such as business history and financial analysis are now offered. Also, a focused operation period of two months (May 11 to July 10) has been set, with banner notifications placed at the top of JobKorea’s main page to allow more job seekers easy access.

In particular, a new ‘Super Company Hall’ has been established to strengthen corporate promotion. JobKorea directly interviews outstanding companies within Munjeong Biz Valley to provide differentiated detailed company status and recruitment information.

Along with this, useful employment support programs such as ‘Songpa Job Start’ and ‘Songpa Job Cafe,’ which are permanently operated at the Songpa Employment Integrated Support Center, are linked and promoted.
