Songpa Miseong Apartment to Be Reconstructed with Up to 32 Floors and 816 Units

On the 6th, Seoul City held the 6th Urban Planning Committee meeting and announced on the 7th that it had "approved with modifications" the maintenance plan establishment and maintenance zone designation for Songpa Miseong Apartment in the area of 161 Songpa-dong, Songpa-gu. With this decision by the Urban Planning Committee, Songpa Miseong Apartment is expected to be reborn as a multi-family housing complex with a maximum of 32 floors, a floor area ratio of 299.95%, and 816 households (including 133 public rental units).

Songpa Miseong Apartment, completed in 1985, is an aging apartment complex with an area of 28,959.7㎡ and is located in a Category 3 General Residential Area. It is adjacent to Bangi Station on Subway Line 5 and the Bangi-dong Ancient Tombs. The Urban Planning Committee added the opinion to consider the landscape of the Bangi-dong Ancient Tombs in the future and to communicate with nearby apartment complexes and the local community, and thus approved the maintenance plan establishment by Songpa-gu with modifications.
