[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] On the afternoon of the 2nd, SBS's "The King: Eternal Monarch" aired a scene where Kim Go-eun tells Jung Eun-chae that she will be leaving soon.

Gu Seoryeong (Jung Eun-chae) met Jeong Tae-eul (Kim Go-eun) for the first time and said, "Nice to meet you. I am Gu Seoryeong, Prime Minister of the Korean Empire," extending her hand. Jeong Tae-eul shook Gu Seoryeong's hand and said, "Nice to meet you. I am a fan of the Prime Minister." Gu Seoryeong smiled brightly and said, "I'm thrilled. To have such a young and beautiful fan like you." Then Gu Seoryeong asked, "Your name?" and Jeong Tae-eul replied evasively, "I am a traveler. It is an honor just to meet you like this. I will be leaving soon."

Jeong Tae-eul continued, "It's my first time in the Korean Empire, everything feels like a fairy tale." Gu Seoryeong then pointed out, "It's your first time in the Korean Empire, but you speak our language very well." When Jeong Tae-eul answered, "Because I am from the literature department," Lee Gon (Lee Min-ho) chuckled.

Lee Gon said, "Let's wrap it up here, Prime Minister Gu. I don't have much time today," to which Gu Seoryeong replied, "You have a long way to go, so please leave first." After Lee Gon and Jeong Tae-eul disappeared together, Gu Seoryeong was overwhelmed with various emotions.

The SBS drama "The King: Eternal Monarch" airs every Friday and Saturday at 10 PM.
