KDI Graduate School of International Policy, Establishes 'National Policy Master's Program' for Korean Language Curriculum

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The KDI School of Public Policy and Management announced on the 27th that it will establish a new Master of Public Policy program (weekend and evening classes) conducted in Korean for the first time since its founding, and will recruit the first batch of students for the fall semester.

The newly established program offers issue-based short-form education designed to proactively identify policy issues and enhance timely responsiveness, with all lectures conducted in a self-directed, participatory learning format, breaking away from traditional methods.

Additionally, various educational services have been prepared, including a team-based Policy Lab program and policy simulation courses to improve practical policy skills, individual policy projects, and opportunities to participate in the Global Policy Workshop held in ASEAN countries.

Applications for the Master of Public Policy program can be submitted through the KDI School of Public Policy and Management website from today until the 29th of next month. An admissions briefing session will be held on the 7th of next month at 7 p.m. via the online video conferencing platform Zoom.

Detailed admission guidelines and information on how to participate in the briefing session can be found on the website, and real-time consultations are also available through the Kakao Channel 'KDI Graduate Admissions Team.'

Yoo Jong-il, Dean of the KDI School of Public Policy and Management, stated, "In the post-COVID-19 world, the role of policy experts with insight that penetrates the essence is extremely important," adding, "The newly established Master of Public Policy program will provide the best education and opportunities to grow into leaders equipped with comprehensive problem-solving capabilities."
