Beer Zone Where You Can Enjoy Chicken and Beer Together... Accommodates a Total of 104 People
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] bhc Chicken announced on the 24th that it has opened a directly managed store, ‘Sinsa Station Branch,’ in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
bhc Chicken’s ‘Sinsa Station Branch’ is a caf?-style store featuring a trendy interior and a beer zone where customers can enjoy chicken and beer together. It is a large store with a total capacity of 104 people, characterized by a variety of table arrangements suitable for different types of gatherings. The business hours are from noon to 1 a.m. the next day, operating 365 days a year without holidays.
‘Sinsa Station Branch’ is located in the Sinsa Station commercial area, a transportation hub. The Sinsa Station commercial area is adjacent to the Han River and close to the Gangnam Express Bus Terminal, making it a major domestic commercial district that attracts people not only from the outskirts of Seoul but also from provincial areas. In particular, the nearby famous commercial district Garosugil and the food alley on the side streets make it a trendy area attracting a large influx of young people in their 20s and 30s.
Additionally, the location of the ‘Sinsa Station Branch’ is in a station area just a one-minute walk from Exit 3 of Sinsa Station on Line 3. Nearby are plastic surgery clinics, coffee franchises, and small and medium-sized company offices on the side streets, providing a geographical advantage to attract a diverse crowd including floating customers, tourists, and local workers.
At the ‘Sinsa Station Branch,’ customers can enjoy a wide range of bhc Chicken’s full menu, including the recently focused boneless series. In particular, the ‘Wingstar Series,’ launched at the end of last year, has sold 900,000 units within three months of its release, gaining explosive support and is expected to become a best-selling item contributing significantly to the ‘Sinsa Station Branch’ sales.
Song Yeon-woo, head of bhc’s direct management division, said, “The Sinsa Station Branch is meaningful as it is the first directly managed store opened this year in a core commercial area of Seoul,” adding, “Based on bhc Chicken’s differentiated taste and strengths, it is expected to capture the taste of young people in their 20s and 30s as well as attract various customer groups, becoming a new flagship store for bhc Chicken.”
Meanwhile, bhc Chicken is strengthening its connection with customers by continuously opening directly managed stores. bhc Chicken plans to continue opening directly managed stores in key commercial areas of Seoul and the metropolitan area, spreading bhc Chicken’s unique taste and the emotional atmosphere and services exclusive to directly managed stores.
