Eunhasusan Launches 'Pororo Boneless Grilled Fish' Ready to Heat in Microwave

Grilled fish is a dish that parents often pay attention to as a side dish for healthy and balanced nutrition for infants and young children. However, even when purchasing pre-prepared fish, it is a food that is not easily chosen due to the characteristic fishy smell, smoke and odor generated during grilling, and fish bones.

Recently, a new seafood home meal replacement (HMR) product has been launched that improves the problems of traditional grilled fish dishes.

On the 23rd, Eunha Fisheries Co., Ltd., which won the seafood category award at the ‘2020 Consumer-Selected Best Brand Awards’ selected by JoongAng Ilbo and Forbes Korea, announced the launch of the HMR children’s product ‘Pororo Boneless Grilled Fish,’ based on the accumulated know-how of new product development through transactions with major domestic online and offline distribution platforms.

This product was released in five varieties preferred by consumers: mackerel (Norway), salmon (Chile), hairtail (Venezuela), Spanish mackerel (domestic), and pollock (Russia).

According to the company, they have meticulously removed up to 99% of fish bones, which was a major concern for families raising children.

Additionally, as the product is pre-grilled, it can be heated in a microwave or air fryer and eaten immediately, enhancing convenience. It is also individually vacuum-packed in small portions, making it hygienic and reducing concerns about leftovers.

The product is officially named ‘Boneless Grilled Fish to Eat with Pororo,’ licensed with the Pororo character to help children become more familiar with grilled fish.

Each product package includes one random Pororo character sticker to attract children’s interest, and the salt content has been kept as low as possible for infant and child food.

The product was pre-released on April 8th at 26 Homeplus stores and will be launched on April 23rd at 96 Homeplus stores nationwide and on Eunha Fisheries’ official Naver Storefarm.

Subsequently, it will be released sequentially at online and offline partner sales locations. At Homeplus, three varieties?mackerel, salmon, and Spanish mackerel?can be purchased, while all five varieties are available online.

Currently, a discount on the five-set purchase and a review event are underway at Eunha Fisheries’ official Naver Storefarm.
