Discounts Offered for Everyday Services like Online Shopping, Delivery Apps, and Music/Video Streaming
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Kookmin Card has launched the 'KB Kookmin Easy Ring Titanium Card,' a lifestyle-focused specialty product that offers up to 25,000 KRW monthly discount on communication fees and additional discounts on online shopping, delivery apps, and music/video services.
This card features discount benefits within the maximum monthly limit even when automatically paying communication fees for multiple mobile carriers. Additionally, in line with recent trends, it provides extra discounts in popular and frequently used sectors such as ▲online shopping ▲music/video services ▲delivery apps, as well as lifestyle sectors like gas stations and large supermarkets.
When using this card to automatically pay communication fees for KB Liiv M, SK Telecom, KT, and LG Uplus, discounts of up to 25,000 KRW per month are available depending on the previous month's spending. If the previous month's spending is ▲500,000 KRW or more, a maximum of 7,000 KRW per month ▲1,000,000 KRW or more, a maximum of 15,000 KRW per month ▲1,500,000 KRW or more, a maximum of 25,000 KRW per month discount is applied at 1,500 KRW per 10,000 KRW of automatic communication fee payment.
This card allows users to select two out of four lifestyle sectors?▲online shopping (Gmarket, Auction, 11st, Coupang, Wemakeprice) ▲large supermarkets (E-Mart, Lotte Mart, Homeplus) ▲gas stations/charging stations (SK, GS) ▲coffee shops, convenience stores, bakeries, ice cream shops?and receive a 5% discount on payment amounts up to 30,000 KRW per month.
Discount benefits are provided per selected sector based on the previous month's spending: ▲5,000 KRW maximum per month for 500,000 KRW or more ▲10,000 KRW maximum per month for 1,000,000 KRW or more ▲15,000 KRW maximum per month for 1,500,000 KRW or more.
The selected sectors can be changed once a month via the website, mobile application, or customer center.
If the previous month's spending is 500,000 KRW or more, the card offers a 2,000 KRW discount twice a month when paying 20,000 KRW or more on delivery apps (Yogiyo, Market Kurly). For music/video services (Melon, Genie, Netflix), a 1,000 KRW discount is applied per 5,000 KRW spent, up to 2,000 KRW per month, and movie theaters (CGV, Lotte Cinema, Megabox) offer a 3,000 KRW discount on payments of 10,000 KRW or more.
If the previous month's spending exceeds 1,500,000 KRW, the Easy Ring Reward service allows unlimited monthly point accumulation of 0.3% of the payment amount on the excess amount. Also, if the previous month's spending is 300,000 KRW or more, users can enjoy free access to ▲Incheon Airport lounge (twice a year) ▲valet parking services at Incheon Airport and major domestic hotels (3 times per month, 12 times per year each).
The annual fee for this card is 30,000 KRW, and if issued as a mobile-only card registered on a smartphone without a physical plastic card, the fee is 24,000 KRW.
