[Asia Economy Reporter Han Seung-gon] A man in his 20s was booked by the police for kicking a foreign luxury car, a Bentley, while intoxicated in a busy district of Suwon, Gyeonggi Province. The man reportedly stated that he could not remember his actions at the time due to being heavily intoxicated. The damaged Bentley is estimated to be worth around 200 million KRW. This incident became known after a video titled "Suwon Bentley Man" spread through social networks and other platforms.

The Suwon Southern Police Station announced on the 20th that Mr. A (25) was booked without detention on charges of property damage and assault.

Mr. A is accused of kicking the passenger door of the Bentley around midnight on the 19th in an alley of a busy district in Paldal-gu, Suwon.

He is also accused of engaging in a physical altercation and using violence when Mr. B (23), the rental car business owner who was sitting in the driver's seat of the Bentley, came out to protest.

The damaged vehicle is known to be a Bentley Continental GT model valued at approximately 200 million KRW.

The man reportedly fought physically with the protesting car owner and stated that he "does not remember due to being intoxicated."

Mr. A's actions were recorded by passersby on their mobile phones and uploaded to online communities, Facebook, and other social media platforms, spreading the footage widely on the internet.

During the police investigation, Mr. A reportedly stated, "I do not remember the situation at the time due to being intoxicated."

A police official said, "We are investigating the details of the incident." Regarding the damage estimate for the vehicle, they added, "It has not been submitted yet."
