KB Securities Launches PRIME CLUB Service Offering Prime Asset Management for 10,000 KRW per Month

Subscription-Based Asset Management Service Introducing Subscription Economy Model

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] KB Securities announced on the 20th that it has launched the 'PRIME CLUB service,' a premium asset management service available for a monthly subscription fee of 10,000 KRW.


The PRIME CLUB service is a membership-based asset management service that provides timely investment information through the Mobile Trading System (MTS) M-able to small investors and online customers, who have been considered a blind spot in asset management services, and offers consulting with PRIME PBs via phone when expert assistance is needed.


This service is characterized by being the industry's first to adopt a subscription economy model, allowing customers who previously found it difficult to receive asset management services due to small investment amounts to enjoy premium asset management services by paying only a small subscription fee. The subscription economy refers to paying a fixed amount regularly to receive services or products.


Since the service is paid information, exclusive investment information and benefits are provided to subscribed customers. For stock investors, differentiated investment information such as market-leading stocks, real-time supply and demand analysis by institutions and foreigners from market open to close, trading timing information based on technical analysis, and exclusive securities broadcasts are provided by time slot.


Additionally, the consulting service by PRIME PBs, experts with long-term investment advisory experience at each branch and investment information department, is expected to lower the barrier for more customers to receive asset management consultations.


KB Securities plans to further upgrade the PRIME CLUB service by introducing an AI advisor based on artificial intelligence technology to add more detailed asset management services in the future.


To commemorate the launch of the service, KB Securities offers all subscribed customers a free subscription benefit for three months after joining. Furthermore, customers who apply for automatic subscription fee payment and complete the first payment will receive an additional three months of free benefits in the form of cashback, allowing customers to enjoy a total of six months of free subscription benefits just by joining and meeting the conditions. In addition, the first 5,000 customers who quickly subscribe to the service will receive a 5,000 KRW convenience store mobile gift certificate.


The PRIME CLUB service has attracted great interest, with over 7,000 customers having made advance reservations as of the 20th, and subscriptions are available through the MTS M-able and the website.


Lee Hong-gu, Head of WM Division, said, "Following the opening of the PRIME Center in February to provide professional consulting services to non-face-to-face and online customers, the launch of the PRIME CLUB service now enables more systematic investment consulting for these customers," adding, "We will continue to do our best to provide customers with both asset management and returns through the addition of more advanced investment services."


It should be noted that investment activities through the PRIME CLUB service may result in principal loss depending on investment outcomes.
