'Mungcheoya Chanda': Lim Youngwoong and Noh Jihoon Impress Eojjeoda FC with Their Soccer Skills

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeonju] 'Mister Trot' stars Lim Youngwoong, Noh Jihoon, Na Taejoo, and Kim Hojung showed off their soccer skills.

On the JTBC variety show 'Mungcheoya Chanda' aired on the 19th, the 'Mister Trot' Top 7-Lim Youngwoong, Youngtak, Lee Chanwon, Kim Hojung, Jeong Dongwon, Jang Minho, and Kim Heejae-along with Noh Jihoon, Na Taejoo, Park Hyunbin, and Jin Sung, joined forces to play a soccer match against the 'Eojjeoda FC' team.

On this day, before facing the Eojjeoda FC team, the Mister Trot team demonstrated their soccer skills. When Lim Youngwoong, who played soccer in elementary school, appeared, the Eojjeoda FC team looked visibly nervous.

Coach Ahn Junghwan commented, "I noticed earlier during foot volleyball that you use your left foot well," to which Lim Youngwoong replied, "I'm left-footed." Coach Ahn then said, "Then we need to see your right foot," and put him to the test. Lim Youngwoong awkwardly missed the ball with his right foot, but with his left, he impressed everyone by trapping the ball with his thigh and connecting it to a kick.

Noh Jihoon, a former youth national soccer team member, displayed outstanding skills befitting his background as a player. The Eojjeoda FC team grew tense at his appearance, saying, "A real soccer player has arrived." Kim Donghyun, who plays for Eojjeoda FC, was especially wary of Noh Jihoon.

Coach Ahn was impressed by Noh Jihoon's stable ground ball handling, remarking, "He's different from (Kim) Donghyun."

In a 3-on-3 penalty shootout, Noh Jihoon, as goalkeeper, blocked two shots from Eojjeoda FC, while Lim Youngwoong scored a goal with a powerful shot that deflected off Eojjeoda FC goalkeeper Kim Donghyun's hand.

Once the main match began, Lim Youngwoong led the game. Noh Jihoon, despite an injury, continued to play passionately as goalkeeper.

The Mister Trot team earned a penalty kick, and Lim Youngwoong stepped up as the kicker, scoring a dramatic equalizer. Noh Jihoon stopped a series of shots from players like Mo Taebeom and Kim Yohan. With the score tied at 2-2, Noh Jihoon was substituted out due to an ankle injury, and Shin Inseon took over as goalkeeper. Ultimately, the Mister Trot team conceded a goal to Park Taehwan and lost by one point.
