Ji Sun-woo (Kim Hee-ae) reports to the police after being attacked. After the police leave, she tidies up the house, and late at night, Lee Tae-oh (Park Hae-joon) visits. It turns out that their son Lee Jun-young (Jeon Jin-seo) called his father. Seeing the broken window, Lee Tae-oh asks if Jun-young is unharmed. Then, Lee Tae-oh temporarily covers the window with plastic and says, "If you ever need help, call me anytime. These kinds of things require a man's touch."

He continues, "How about sending Jun-young to our house for a while? A house without security is dangerous. You never know when something might happen again," he persuades. But Sun-woo reassures Jun-young, saying, "Nothing like this will happen again," telling him not to worry.

Yeo Da-kyung (Han So-hee) asks Lee Tae-oh why he didn't answer her calls when he comes home. Lee Tae-oh replies, "I met Jun-young. I went to fix the broken glass at that house," which makes Yeo Da-kyung uneasy.

Lee Tae-oh plots to push Ji Sun-woo out of the deputy director position under the pretext of a donation and instead place Seol Myeong-sook (Chae Guk-hee) in that position. When Seol Myeong-sook, who joins Lee Tae-oh's plan, says, "You have loyalty," Lee Tae-oh asks, "You handle things well in the middle."

Yeo Da-kyung attends the Fox Society meeting for the first time. After finishing the meal, when Go Ye-rim (Park Sun-young) tries to pay, Yeo Da-kyung says she will cover the bill and takes the check. However, Lee Tae-oh has already paid and even prepared gifts to hand out to the members. Go Ye-rim makes a pointed remark, "The initiation ceremony was enough with just the housewarming; this feels a bit burdensome." She adds, "If the husband unilaterally takes charge of the costs at a gathering meant to be lighthearted, it doesn't fit the purpose of our meeting."

At these words, Eom Hyo-jung (Kim Sun-kyung) shows displeasure and speaks up, but the wife of Chairman Choi (Seo Yi-sook), who overhears, sides with Go Ye-rim, saying she has a point, and the atmosphere turns tense.

While shopping at the mart, Ji Sun-woo meets Chairman Choi's wife. She says, "I am grateful to you, Ji Sun-woo," and sincerely advises, "They are not easy people, so be careful." Returning home, Ji Sun-woo is troubled after receiving a mysterious letter that reads, "Ji Sun-woo, leave this place!"

Ji Sun-woo hears from Kim Yoon-gi (Lee Moo-saeng) that Jun-young is tormented by guilt. Ji Sun-woo doesn't immediately understand, but Kim Yoon-gi explains, "Self-blame is a common feeling among children from divorced families, but Jun-young's situation is somewhat special. He found a memory chip containing footage of his father's affair, which he had discarded, in his mother's room." Then Ji Sun-woo breaks down in tears, saying she was too overwhelmed with her own struggles to care for her son.

Ji Sun-woo is attacked again at home, and during the incident, Kim Yoon-gi, who was calling her, realizes the situation and rushes to her. Concerned about Ji Sun-woo's severe injuries, Kim Yoon-gi suggests going to his house, but Ji Sun-woo says she is fine. At that moment, Lee Tae-oh enters with Jun-young. Ji Sun-woo tells him to leave, but Kim Yoon-gi blocks Lee Tae-oh and says, "She needs to rest, so please come back later."

Meanwhile, Min Hyun-seo (Shim Eun-woo), who learns of Lee Tae-oh's plan to remove Ji Sun-woo from the deputy director position, informs Ji Sun-woo of this fact.

Ji Sun-woo confronts Lee Tae-oh and asks what he wants. Lee Tae-oh advises, "Before something more dangerous happens, leave this place and entrust Jun-young to me." Ji Sun-woo replies, "Don't even dream about it!" As Ji Sun-woo and Lee Tae-oh raise their voices and argue, an employee overhearing outside calls Yeo Da-kyung to report the situation.

Lee Tae-oh secretly meets with the assailant who attacked Ji Sun-woo. The assailant is Park In-gyu (Lee Hak-joo). Lee Tae-oh says, "I told you to scare her, not hurt her," and Park In-gyu replies, "She is not the kind of woman who would just endure being scared." Then Lee Tae-oh threatens, "No matter what happens, do not lay a hand on her."

Ji Sun-woo unexpectedly visits the Fox Society meeting and asks, "I want to join the Fox Society. How can I do that?" Yeo Da-kyung replies that members' approval is required according to the rules. Ji Sun-woo suggests deciding right there. One by one, members raise their hands, and with Yeo Da-kyung casting the final approving vote, Ji Sun-woo becomes a member of the Fox Society.
