[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Samsung Electronics has unveiled the 10.4-inch tablet 'Galaxy Tab S6 Lite' featuring an upgraded S Pen.
On the 16th (local time), Samsung Electronics announced the budget-friendly tablet Galaxy Tab S6 Lite on its global newsroom. Priced in the 500,000 KRW range, it is expected to be released domestically within this month. Pre-orders have already started in Europe.
The S Pen included with the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has also been improved. It weighs 7.03g, making it lightweight and easy to use. The S Pen tip is 0.7mm, enhancing precision when writing or drawing.
The S Pen does not require charging via battery, eliminating concerns about losing it while charging. Using the S Pen with Samsung Notes allows handwritten notes to be instantly converted into text. Notes can be categorized with tags or important passages highlighted, and the 300% zoom feature enables content enlargement. All notes can be exported as PDF, JPEG images, text files, or Microsoft Word documents.
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite runs on Android 10 and has 4GB of RAM. It comes in two storage options: 64GB and 128GB, and supports a microSD card slot to expand storage up to 1TB (terabyte). It is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera, and has a battery capacity of 7040mAh.
The 10.4-inch screen features narrow bezels for immersive viewing. It includes dual speakers with AKG and Dolby Atmos 3D sound for high-quality audio enjoyment. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will be available in three colors: Oxford Gray, Angora Blue, and Chiffon Pink.
