Former Blue House Administrator Involved in Lime Scandal Arrested by Prosecutors

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] The prosecution has arrested Kim Mo (46), a former Blue House administrator, who is involved in the Lime Asset Management redemption suspension incident that caused damage worth approximately 1.6 trillion won.


The Criminal Division 6 of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Jo Sang-won) announced on the morning of the 16th that they arrested former administrator Kim on charges of bribery and breach of official secrets under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes.


However, the prosecution did not disclose the specific circumstances of Kim's arrest.


Kim, who works at the Financial Supervisory Service, is suspected of being involved in covering up the Lime incident during his approximately one-year secondment to the Blue House Economic Secretary's Office starting from February last year.
