Yangcheon-gu to Lease Garden Plots at Future Site of 2nd Urban Agriculture Park

Creation of 250 Garden Plots (10㎡ Each), Families or Neighbors Can Participate by Forming Communities of 5 or More Members

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) is recruiting applicants who wish to lease garden plots at the site designated for the Yangcheon 2nd Urban Agriculture Park until the 24th.

Yangcheon-gu established and has been operating the first urban agriculture park in the southwestern area (San 174-1, Sinwol-dong) since April last year as a green space for residents, and is currently planning to create the Yangcheon 2nd Urban Agriculture Park.

Accordingly, before the completion of the Yangcheon 2nd Urban Agriculture Park, the district plans to temporarily (until December 2020) create garden plots at the designated site (around 350-31 and 350-35, Sinwol-dong) and lease them to applicants.

The district is recruiting residents to lease a total of 250 garden plots (10㎡ per plot) at the site designated for the Yangcheon 2nd Urban Agriculture Park.

Residents of Yangcheon-gu who wish to lease a garden plot can apply by forming a community of five or more people with family or neighbors and submitting an application through the integrated reservation menu on the Yangcheon-gu Office website by the 24th.

Applicants will be selected through a random draw, and the results of the selection will be available on April 28 on the Yangcheon-gu Office website.
