On the 13th, Jeon Somin's younger brother, Mr. Jeon, shared a screenshot of a DM (direct message) he received from a netizen on his Instagram story, saying, "I get these kinds of messages too often."
The messages in the photo included statements such as "Jeon Somin is on 'Running Man.' The whole family was cursed that day," "Jeon Somin, leave 'Running Man,'" and "Either remove Jeon Somin from 'Running Man' or may your family be cursed every day." Currently, the netizen has deleted their Instagram account.

Jeon Somin joined SBS's 'Running Man' in 2017. However, some overseas fans have continued to harass her by leaving malicious comments on Instagram, citing that she is not an original member.
In response, Jeon Somin once expressed her difficulties on the 'Running Man' broadcast, stating that the malicious comments from overseas fans have been worsening.
Meanwhile, on the 2nd, Jeon Somin's agency Entertainment IM stated, "Jeon Somin was hospitalized for treatment due to accumulated fatigue. She is currently resting at home."
The agency added, "Jeon Somin felt unwell during the 'Running Man' filming last Monday and visited the hospital. According to the medical staff's diagnosis, she plans to take a break and focus on treatment for the time being."
