[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Seoul's Gwanak-gu announced on the 11th that a new confirmed case of COVID-19 has occurred among the believers of Manmin Central Church in Guro-gu.
The new confirmed case is a 72-year-old female resident of Boramae-dong and is the 43rd patient in Gwanak-gu. She was found to have had contact on the 17th of last month with a 58-year-old female pastor of Manmin Central Church, who is also the 17th patient in Dongjak-gu. The 17th patient in Dongjak-gu tested positive on the 28th of last month.
Gwanak-gu is currently testing three family members of the new confirmed patient and investigating the patient's movement history.
Since the first confirmed case of an employee working at the pastor's residence of Manmin Central Church (the 6th patient in Geumcheon-gu) on the 25th of last month, a total of 41 confirmed cases have been reported up to the 43rd patient in Gwanak-gu.
The new confirmed case related to Manmin Central Church occurred five days after the last case on the 6th.
