A is accused of falsely reporting at 6:11 p.m. on the 30th of last month that explosives had been installed at a bakery in Jeonju Hanok Village.
At that time, the police and the military bomb disposal team mobilized about 70 people and searched the site for over three hours, but no explosives were found.
After making the false report, A attempted another false report using the same number at 1:43 a.m. on the 31st, about seven hours later. However, police officers nearby arrived at the scene and found and apprehended A within about one minute of the report.
According to the police investigation, A made six false reports this year, and each time disguised his voice as that of a middle-aged man or woman to evade the police investigation. Additionally, A used a phone without a SIM card to make tracking difficult.
