Dongshim Co., Ltd. Affiliated Dongshim Research Institute Provides 'Uri Won Homeschool' Service Connecting Teachers at Home

Dongshim Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeongshin), a company specializing in early childhood education, and its affiliated Dongshim Research Institute announced on the 10th that they have started providing the service "Our Kindergarten Homeschool, Teachers Meeting at Home," which allows parents and children attending kindergartens and daycare centers to learn together at home.

The "It's Difficult but Let's Do It Together" campaign, currently being conducted by the research institute, is a program initiated to overcome the COVID-19 crisis. It marked its beginning by offering a home childcare system called "Our Kindergarten Homeschool, Teachers Meeting at Home" for all children and parents attending kindergartens and daycare centers nationwide who are facing difficulties.

Due to the COVID-19 situation delaying the reopening of all early childhood education institutions such as kindergartens and daycare centers, the research institute recognized the prolonged need for home childcare and the necessity for various "play kits" that parents and children can use at home. Therefore, they decided to provide the "Our Kindergarten Homeschool" service, enabling play at home through all Dongshim programs.

This service is a customized educational website that selects representative programs developed and conducted by Dongshim so far, containing various optimized play activities for parents and children created by the institute’s researchers.

Additionally, early childhood education specialists at Dongshim Research Institute have produced 10 episodes of "7-Minute Parent Education" videos, which will be provided on the site as online educational materials to help parents facilitate smoother education at home.

The service reflects Dongshim’s understanding of the difficulties faced by parents and children during extended home childcare and their intention to overcome these challenges together. Dongshim explained that they will continue to provide services on-site for everyone involved in early childhood education until the COVID-19 situation is resolved smoothly.
