[Photo] Moon Seok-jin, Seodaemun-gu Mayor, Certification Shot After Early Voting for General Election

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the morning of the 10th at 8:30 AM, Moon Seok-jin, Mayor of Seodaemun-gu, responded to a resident's request for a photo after casting his early vote for the 21st National Assembly election at the polling station set up in Yeonhui-dong Community Center.

Mayor Moon said, "A better world is not created automatically, but by gathering each and every one of our votes," adding, "I hope those who find it difficult to vote on the main election day will exercise their precious right during the early voting days today and tomorrow."

He also emphasized, "Please strictly follow COVID-19 safety guidelines such as wearing masks and maintaining distance between voters while waiting."

The 'early voting system' allows voters to cast their ballots at any Eup, Myeon, or Dong Community Center (Administrative Welfare Center) nationwide regardless of their registered address and without prior application, before the main election day.

Early voting takes place over two days, the 10th and 11th, from 6 AM to 6 PM, and requires identification such as a resident registration card, driver's license, or passport.
