Jung Won-seok, full-time spokesperson for the United Future Party's election committee, stated in a commentary on the 10th, "Lee Hae-chan, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, who only uses the Nth Room case as material for political conspiracy, should wake up."
He said, "No matter how much it is election season, the political circles are excessively distorting the essence of the problem as a political conspiracy," and pointed out, "In particular, Lee Hae-chan's 'weekend Nth Room political conspiracy theory' clearly shows how instrumentally our society's issues are being exploited."
Spokesperson Jung said, "Similar cases to the Nth Room are currently under investigation by the TFT under the United Future Party's election committee," and criticized, "In this grave reality, the ruling party leader, who is one of the key parties responsible for solving the problem, is viewing the tears of the tragic female victims merely as 'material for political conspiracy.'"
He added, "I do not understand why Lee Hae-chan is so fearful. Why does he react so sensitively to the 'Nth Room case' and become the subject of all kinds of speculation and political conspiracy novels within the political sphere?" He pointed out, "The act of the ruling party leader collaborating with Kim Eo-jun to politicize the tears of the Nth Room victims as a political conspiracy not only shows a lack of fundamental will to solve the problem but also indirectly suggests that there is something he is hiding."
