[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Ju-hyung] The police have applied for an arrest warrant for a teenage male who threatened his ex-girlfriend by posting nude photos in front of her house.
On the 10th, the Busan Southern Police Station announced that they plan to apply for an arrest warrant for A (18) on charges including filming and distribution using a camera under the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence, and defamation.
A is suspected of posting or leaving nude photos of his ex-girlfriend B on the apartment entrance door, mailbox, and delivery box where B lives on February 11.
Additionally, A made confirmation calls to B's parents asking if they had seen the photos.
According to the police investigation, since B notified A of their breakup in December last year, A repeatedly threatened B by saying things like he would reveal what happened during their sexual relationship to her parents.
This case came to light when a related post was uploaded on the bulletin board of a university in Busan where A was scheduled to enroll. The post also included photos of B showing bruises caused by dating violence.
