[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] On the morning of the first day of early voting for the 21st National Assembly election, around 8 a.m. on the 10th, Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon visited the Gahoe-dong Community Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul, with his wife Kang Nan-hee to cast their votes.
Following the guidance of the polling station staff, Mayor Park and his wife wore plastic gloves before marking their ballots and voting.
Mayor Park said, "Although we are facing various difficulties due to COVID-19, such challenges can never be an obstacle to exercising the sovereignty of the people," and he urged, "I hope everyone participates in the voting to exercise the people's sovereignty."
