[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Lee Jin-bok, the General Headquarters Chief of the United Future Party, stated on the 10th, "We have received many reports from the Nth Room special team and plan to present them during the election." Regarding the possibility of ruling party figures being involved in the 'Nth Room' case, he said, "I have heard such talks."

Lee made these remarks to reporters after the joint election strategy meeting of the United Future Party and the Future Korea Party on the same day.

Earlier, Lee appeared on the YouTube channel 'Shinui Hansu' and said, "There is something that will explode on their side (the ruling party). They are using all kinds of methods to prevent it," adding, "There are many reports, and the inspection has reached a considerable level. When the public sees it around the weekend, it will be outrageous."

Regarding this, Lee said, "Rather than having a single big reveal, we plan to present what has been ongoing and many reports that have been received during the election in front of everyone," adding, "We will disclose it properly as we are doing." When asked if it would be disclosed around the weekend, he replied, "There is an Nth Room special team. That team is handling everything, so I have not received specific reports, but I understand that is the plan."

When asked if the content would include the involvement of ruling party figures in the Nth Room case, he said, "I have heard such talks too," but added, "I have not yet confirmed the specifics of what will be disclosed."

As early voting begins today, he expressed concern about the final election situation, saying, "It seems that public sentiment in the metropolitan area is not moving significantly, so I am very worried," and "Because the metropolitan area has not improved much, I have many concerns." Regarding the expected number of seats, he said, "Rather than saying exactly how many seats we can get, I think it is more appropriate to ask whether we can achieve the goal of 130 seats," and reiterated, "There has been no change in metropolitan public sentiment, so I am worried."

Regarding the recent opinion polls showing about a twofold difference in support rates in Jongno, he said, "Watching media reports, I think it might be overly dramatized," adding, "After receiving some media back data, I found several contradictions, so I find it difficult to take it at face value," and "Our internal analysis is different."

Lee partially acknowledged the struggles in conservative strongholds such as Gangwon Province. He said, "Gangwon has been difficult from the beginning. An independent candidate from our party is showing strength, and it is true that in some areas the race is very close or we are at a disadvantage," and added, "I acknowledge that Gangwon is not like the last election."

Regarding the possibility of additional referrals to the Ethics Committee beyond Kim Dae-ho, the Seoul Gwanak-gap candidate, and Cha Myung-jin, the Gyeonggi Bucheon-byeong candidate, he said, "I understand that no further such discussions are ongoing."
