Candidate Shin Jeong-hoon said, “I believe politics is about solving the suffering of the people,” and added, “I empathize with the pain of the local residents who are suffering, and to participate in overcoming COVID-19, I am refraining from noisy on-site campaigns using microphones.”

He continued, “This election is not about Shin Jeong-hoon winning, but about putting an end to the low-level politics of slander and outrageous remarks by the United Future Party in this general election.
