Jangseong-gun to Operate 'Local Food Drive-Thru Market' on 11th-12th

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Gilsu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 9th that it will operate a 'Local Food Drive-Thru Market' on April 11-12 at the Baekyangsa Cherry Blossom Road.

This event was organized jointly by Jangseong-gun and the Jangseong-gun Nonghyup Cooperative Business Group to comply with 'social distancing' and to support local farmers facing difficulties.

The market will be open from 2 PM to 5 PM and will offer an 'Immunity UP Package' consisting of five agricultural products: green onions, apples, king oyster mushrooms, sprout ginseng, and dried persimmons, as well as the first harvest of this year’s chamdurup (Aralia elata shoots).

The price for the agricultural product package and chamdurup is 10,000 won each, which is cheaper than the market price.

The county plans to give mini flower bouquets to market users as well.
