[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Actors Park Bo-gum, Park So-dam, and Byeon Woo-seok will be working together in a new drama.
On the 9th, tvN announced through multiple media outlets, "Park Bo-gum, Park So-dam, and Byeon Woo-seok have confirmed their appearances in the new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'Youth Record,' scheduled to air in the second half of this year, and have begun full-scale filming. Please look forward to the realistic portrayal of youth that they will present."
Park Bo-gum will play 'Sa Hye-jun,' a model who dreams of becoming an actor. This marks Park Bo-gum's return to drama after one year since the tvN drama 'Encounter.' Having gained great popularity through works such as 'Reply 1988' and 'Love in the Moonlight,' attention is focused on how Park Bo-gum will interpret the character in 'Youth Record.'
Park So-dam will portray 'Ahn Jung-ha,' who dreams of becoming a makeup artist. Park So-dam gained worldwide attention through the film 'Parasite,' which won four awards at the 92nd Academy Awards.
Byeon Woo-seok will play 'Won Hae-hyo,' Sa Hye-jun's close friend and a model-turned-actor. Byeon Woo-seok has become known through various works such as the dramas 'Dear My Friends,' 'Search: WWW,' and 'Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency.'
Meanwhile, tvN's 'Youth Record' is a collaboration between director Ahn Gil-ho, known for dramas such as 'Stranger,' 'Memories of the Alhambra,' and 'Watcher,' and writer Ha Myung-hee, known for dramas like 'Doctors' and 'Temperature of Love.' It is scheduled to air in the second half of this year.
