Gyeongnam Bank Provides On-Site Financial Services at Masan Fish Market... COVID-19 Loan Applications

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 9th that it provided a ‘Visiting Small Business Financial Support Service’ to alleviate the financial difficulties of small business owners struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

This service, held at Masan Fish Market in Changwon, Gyeongnam, involved the Gyeongnam Bank Moving Bank, a mobile branch, setting up and offering consultations and applications for COVID-19 related loans such as the ‘Small Business Owner Interest Subsidy Agreement Loan’ and the ‘Special Guarantee Loan for COVID-19 Affected Small Business Owners.’

Hwang Yoon-chul, President of Gyeongnam Bank, and Heo Seong-mu, Mayor of Changwon, also visited the site to listen to the difficulties faced by small business owners and provide guidance on COVID-19 related loans.

President Hwang said, “The Gyeongnam Bank Moving Bank, equipped with mobility, will tour major markets and commercial districts in Gyeongnam and Ulsan where many small business owners are concentrated to help ease their difficulties. We will continue to devise support measures to help local small business owners overcome the crisis caused by COVID-19.”

Mayor Heo stated, “I hope that many local small business owners will receive help through the visiting small business financial support and continue their business activities stably.”
