[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 9th that from this month until September, it will conduct a land status survey and cadastral resurvey measurement for the Donggang district in Mujeong-myeon (410 parcels, 214,296.6㎡) to promote the cadastral resurvey project.
The county completed the establishment and announcement of the implementation plan and resident briefing sessions from January to last month for the cadastral resurvey project, and received consent forms from more than two-thirds of the landowners and two-thirds of the land area. On the 3rd, it was designated as a cadastral resurvey project district by Jeonnam Province.
The cadastral resurvey project is a national project to correct the registration details of the cadastral register that do not match the actual status of the land and to establish digital cadastral information, which will be carried out until 2030.
The Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation (Damyang branch) was selected as the executor of the cadastral resurvey measurement project.
The county plans to conduct measurements over five months by investigating the location of structures such as fences, building walls, retaining walls, and fences, as well as the actual occupancy status for all parcels within the project district.
A county official said, “This project is expected to resolve land boundary complaints and help residents exercise their property rights and improve living convenience,” and added, “Landowners are requested to be present during the resurvey measurement to confirm boundaries and cooperate to ensure smooth project progress.”
