Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance Introduces Online AI Interviews for New Employee Recruitment Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance announced on the 8th that it will conduct an online AI interview screening for the recruitment of new employees with a level 6 associate degree.


[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance announced on the 8th that it will conduct online AI interviews for the recruitment of new employees with a 6th-grade junior college diploma.


The first face-to-face interview, which was previously conducted by interviewers at the training center, will be replaced by a non-face-to-face AI interview using an online platform. Applicants who pass the document screening can participate in the online interview without restrictions of time and place using their own PC or laptop.


Before introducing the AI interview, Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance completed reliability verification through pilot testing to select competent applicants suitable for the recruitment job by evaluating question difficulty, discrimination, and user convenience.


Jin Han-seung, head of Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance’s HR department, stated, "The introduction of AI interviews based on 4th industrial revolution technology and big data will further enhance the fairness of recruitment by identifying applicants' potential capabilities." He added, "The untact interview method will also minimize applicants' inconvenience of movement and infection risk caused by COVID-19."


Meanwhile, the application period for Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance’s 6th-grade new employee recruitment is until the 20th, and applications can be submitted through the Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance website.
