[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] Shinhan Bank announced on the 8th that, as part of the One Shinhan collaboration with Shinhan Card, it will support digital marketing for small business owners struggling due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Shin Yong-byeong, Chairman of Shinhan Financial Group, has emphasized the challenge toward becoming a 'First-class Shinhan' through the One Shinhan strategy, where group affiliates collaborate.
Shinhan Bank will provide the Shinhan Card My Shop Partner service free of charge until the end of June to small business owners who transact with Shinhan Financial Group. This service selects customers who can visit based on big data analysis of 22 million Shinhan Card customers, offers discount coupons, and the amount discounted to customers is reimbursed to the small business owners through the merchant payment account by Shinhan Card within a certain limit. Applications can be made through all bank branches and the Shinhan Card My Shop Partner application.
Through this, small business owners can directly conduct marketing suitable for each business location to attract visiting customers, and visiting customers can receive discount benefits, enabling mutual growth.
A Shinhan Bank official said, "We hope this marketing support will alleviate the difficulties faced by small business owners due to COVID-19, even if only slightly," and added, "We will continue to prepare measures to help small business owners through One Shinhan collaboration."
