[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Welfare Institute announced on the 8th that it will hold the "2nd Our Neighborhood Green Fund Story UCC (User Created Contents) Contest" from June 8 to July 10.
The contest is held to raise public interest and build consensus on the Green Fund lottery fund support projects aimed at enhancing social value, such as welfare facility sharing forests, barrier-free sharing paths, and forest experience and education.
Participation in the contest is possible by submitting videos or photos capturing local residents engaging in activities at the "welfare facility sharing forests" and "barrier-free sharing paths" created with the Green Fund lottery fund, or participating in "forest experience and education" supported by the Green Fund lottery fund.
The Forest Welfare Institute will select a total of 16 outstanding works in the video and photo categories and award certificates including the Forest Service Director's Award and a total prize money of 6.2 million KRW to the winners.
For more detailed information about the contest, please refer to the notices on the Forest Welfare Institute website or contact the Green Fund Management Team for guidance.
The Green Fund lottery fund is created using lottery sales proceeds and is operated and managed by the Forest Service Director under the "Act on the Creation and Management of Forest Resources" to protect the forest environment and enhance forest functions.
Lee Chang-jae, Director of the Forest Welfare Institute, said, "I hope the contest will serve as an opportunity to raise public awareness of the Green Fund lottery fund," and added, "We ask for active participation from the public interested in the Green Fund lottery fund projects."
