Daekwang Geonyeong Executives and Employees Join Donations to Overcome the COVID-19 Crisis

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Daekwang Geonyeong Co., Ltd. and its executives and employees have joined the donation campaign to overcome the COVID-19 crisis.

According to the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Han Sangwon) on the 8th, Daekwang Geonyeong Co., Ltd. (Vice Chairman Cho Younghoon), which celebrated its 26th anniversary on the 7th, donated 88.2 million KRW to overcome COVID-19.

The amount includes 60 million KRW from Daekwang Geonyeong Co., Ltd. and 28.2 million KRW collected from 282 executives and employees who each donated 100,000 KRW.

The donation will be used to support neighbors in need who are struggling due to COVID-19.

The donation ceremony was attended by Lee Yongseop, Mayor of Gwangju Metropolitan City; Cho Younghoon, Vice Chairman of Daekwang Geonyeong; and Han Sangwon, Chairman of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea.

Cho Younghoon, Vice Chairman of Daekwang Geonyeong Co., Ltd., said, “I thank the executives and employees who participated in the fundraising to overcome the COVID-19 crisis on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the company’s founding. We will continue to carry out social contribution activities and work together with the local community and residents.”
