Canon Launches Single-Person Media Camera Package

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Canon is selling a one-person media camera package composed of items necessary for video production for those preparing to become solo creators.

The one-person media package consists of various types of cameras such as high-end compact cameras, DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and professional camcorders, as well as essential video shooting equipment like external microphones, gimbals, lighting, tripods, and hand grips. It offers items suited to the intended use for those who want to create video content themselves but have difficulty choosing the right shooting equipment.

The models included in the one-person media package are nine types of cameras and professional camcorders: ▲PowerShot G7 X Mark III ▲EOS M6 Mark II ▲EOS M50 ▲EOS 90D ▲EOS 200D II ▲EOS R ▲EOS RP ▲G50 ▲G60.

Among the one-person media packages, the vlog package includes the high-end compact camera PowerShot G7 X Mark III and the mirrorless cameras EOS M6 Mark II and EOS M50. Canon is also holding an event inviting vlog videos from users of its cameras. Participants upload vlog videos shot with Canon cameras in various fields such as daily life, travel, cooking, and pets to their personal YouTube channels with the hashtag #CanonVlog and the camera model used, then apply through the event page to complete participation. The event period is until May 22. Outstanding video creators will receive prizes such as an EOS M6 Mark II (1 person), HG-100TBR tripod grip and DM-E100 microphone (4 people), and 30 participants will be randomly selected to receive Starbucks beverage exchange gifticons.
