[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Outdoor brand NEPA announced on the 8th the launch of the Stio Gore-Tex, which retains the technology and know-how as an outdoor brand while allowing it to be enjoyed as a sleek silhouette sneaker in everyday life.

True to its nickname "City Trekker," the Stio Gore-Tex features practicality that allows comfortable wear without boundaries from urban areas to outdoor settings, both on weekdays and weekends.

The Stio Gore-Tex applies Gore-Tex Invisible Fit technology, providing a comfortable fit and feel similar to wearing regular running shoes, while offering waterproof, windproof, and breathable functions along with optimal fitting. It uses mesh material and a seamless construction method to be lightweight and highly breathable, and employs NEPA's unique Light Force sole to deliver excellent traction.

Using the Boa Fit system, the laces can be loosened and tightened with one touch, allowing fine adjustments according to foot condition. It also uses Ortholite insoles with antibacterial and deodorizing functions, providing stable comfort even after long periods of wear, showing careful consideration for consumers who actually wear the shoes.

The biggest difference compared to existing outdoor shoes is the design. While it is good for going out to exercise separately, the design was completed to match various styles, not just sportswear, in line with the trend of more people practicing walking in daily life.

The colors are released in four options: chic black and gray products, as well as navy and red that embody an active outdoor sensibility. The price is 229,000 KRW.
